Hello all,

Im looking on a bunch of sites for these window track seals (guide rubber?) I dont need to find the squeegee pieces, as mine are all good...what do i call these parts when looking them up? I cant seem to find anyone that sells them..I have a 89 245 and my rear passenger is torn apart at the bottom of the aft track causing the window to pop out and go behind the track on the way up...pain in my a**...and also my front driver one as well, both give me grief every month or so...so i need some new ones to keep the window in line...the torn rubber guides dont really work too well for that task haha..

Any idea which one can fit the 240 window scraper trim pieces?

I took off the window scraper moulding on hte 245 and it didn't match up with anything JC Whitney has.
I did find a link onvclassics that has the vertical window guide moulding used. It may be your best bet.

although i would never ever ever buy an important piece from JC whitneythis would be nice to upgrade the door seals to later 240s

Are you referring to the scrapers?

I think he means the vertical window guides. The 'squeegee' or window scrapers are found only at teh dealer. I have needed these for 4 yrs and at >60 each X 4, still need them. I would venture to guess that the window track mouldings are similar. I have spent countless hours looking and only found ~10% off of these from swedighengineering.com for a special order Volvo part. Still hard to swallow for >$200

So far they haven't seen fit to do so. The scraper is a simple rubber extrusion. They could sell a ton of them but how do you convince them of this?

I think Dave Barton may have some of the scrapers for sale on his website.

no scrapers, yes the vertical ones...the ones that outline the window, and go all the way up and around the wondow when its closed..all one piece...
