87 GL Fuel pump relay 200

Is the Fuel pump relay in a 87 in the same right hand kick panel as the 89?

The reason I'm asking is my Father In-law's 87 is not starting on occasion and he hears a clicking behind the dash.

My intial thought was the FP relay. but if its in the pass. side kick panel you wouldn't hear that behind the dash.

Any thoughts out there?
