Some progress, I made up my surge tank 140-160

and I still need to make up some offset washers for my intake and headder connection since they are different thicknesses.

A local machine shop can mill down the offending "tall" mounting ears on your manifold or you can DIY with an angle grinder and file for finishing.

I was thinking that the manefold doesn't look all that thick in other places and I am concerned about it cracking. I might not be able to use the manefold support brace with my headder.
I'll figure something out.
