Blasted%&*#@$ door panels need HELP!! 700 1988

I am so frustrated by this! The driver's side door panels-and I mean the whole enchilada-both front and rear, get caught on the door frame and get torn completely off of the door! I've already replaced the rear panel once, bolting it onto the grabhandle with machine screws and it's freakin' busted again!
What I want to know is WHY this is happening. Are the doors starting to sag? Have alien mutants surrounded poor Shirley with an evil force field? Or what?
I can't keep replacing panels, as they are becoming quite rare in the boneyard.
TIA

Dad,

I would check the door hinges ... after replacing the front doors/hinges on my 87 745T, the driver's door hung low enough to catch the lower, rear edge of the door panel. By loosening the hinge bolts and lifting the door, I was able to properly position the door in the frame and end the panel clearance problem. Hope this helps.

Dors don't sag. The bottom of the panels rest on two clips secured to metal rods. If the plastic clips fell off, then the panels could fall down enough to catch the sill plate. If the spacing around the outside of the door is uneven, check the hinge bolts.
