Dad,

I would check the door hinges ... after replacing the front doors/hinges on my 87 745T, the driver's door hung low enough to catch the lower,rear edge of the door panel. By loosening the hinge bolts and lifting the door, I was able to properly position the door in the frame and end the panel clearance problem. Hope this helps.
