hi-

does anyone know the average mpg of a 1976 245 DL with B21F engine and 4-speed stick with O/D? I got roughly 22 mpg last time i filled up, and I wanted to know if I really do have a lead foot.

my 81 b21a gets from 19-23 mostly hwy. I'm resigned to it. It could be a 78 Chev 350 and get 8mpg.
I have a 3.91 differential if that's relevant, and I use the OD over 80km/hr.

I get 24-28 city/hwy with non-agressive driving on my 78 245 B21 w/230K.

the '76 has a very low gear, 3.91:1 I think. 22 doesn't seem outrageous.
