Car won't start. Replaced FI 25 amp fuse and holder under hood. replaced brain, checked for spark and have it, could smell fuel, so I believe fuel pump is operational. (also hear hum). Though it may be wet distributor, dried, no go. Car cranks, but just won't turn over. HELP, Thanks

Car off , unplug the AMM. Start car, if it starts you might have a bad AMM.

Were there any symptoms that led up to the no-start? Could it be a bad fuel filter?

Pull off the vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator (that little round thing at the front of the fuel rail) and see if that is where the fuel smell is coming from. If so, you've probably got a ruptured diaphragm in the FPR.

Check all your electrical connections that have to do with the FI system. Especially check the connection to the ignition control module and the ones behind the battery.

How's the timing?

Spark, compression and fuel and it should run.

I think the plugs may be the problem

Yeah check and clean the plugs...My 89 when I first got it from an auction did the same thing...cleaned the plugs and it fired right up...then I replaced them. could very well be why it was at an abandoned vechile auction...$150 and a set of plugs and I have been driving it since may.
