740G, I need the diagram for v-belts path can anyone help with this 700 1990

I had a v-belt come off from the alternator and it is hanging there but i cant figure out which pulleys it was routed over, if anyone can send me a diagram of how the belts are routed i would appreciate it, the shop manuals i have bought do not show any of this and it is not on the car anywhere. thank you

Dave,

On both my cars the alternator has it's own belt, the AC compressor has it's own belt and the water pump and power steering pump share a belt.

In other words the alternator belt goes only from the alternator to the crank pully.

Be careful to get the belts alined on the proper grooves,especially if your alternator has double grooves. The local dealor changed the timing belt when i bought the 945 and their guy got it wrong. It squeeked like crazy so i bought new belts and then saw the problem.
