I forgot to ask for the best (by best, I mean least expensive) supplier of volvo parts? There are some unusual things I may need to replace so I'd love to find someone that can get a hold of nearly any part on my car. Who has the widest selection and best prices?

Well, that all depends..
I don't buy much from FCP 'cause I'm on the wrong coast (so are you, I notice), and the WorldPac outlets (http://www.europeanautomotive.com/, http://www.thepartsbin.com/, etc.) have free shipping over $50 AND (usually) next day delivery, but I bought a pair of Nivomats from FCP for ~$100 less than I could get them elsewhere.
If you need any kind of advice, Rusty at RPR is worth quite a lot, too (and he's fairly close).
ipd has stuff you can't get elsewhere.

You gotta shop around.

I've used vlvworld.com (CDN and US Depots) with no problem with the cost and parts (Engine pan and Link Kits). I didn't check the others noted first, as I was looking for a CDN (no Duty) supplier. They did however mess up the shipping and it took some prodding to get the parts on their way. A trip to the wrecker can yield treasure too!

A better question is "who has the best value?" (trans: balance of price and quality). In some cases, FCPGroton, in others IPD, in others one of the online OEM dealers such as Borton. I would not use FCP for some parts (e.g., exhaust manifold gaskets); I use OEM instead.

Usually FCPgroton has the best prices. Some of the things they carry made by scantech and MTC are of questionable quality (from first hand experience), avoid those.

They offer 3rd party parts and a great deal on aftermarket parts.

I've used www.eeuroparts.com several times. Same brand parts as everyone else, fast & usually FREE shipping. Never had a problem with them. They also do Saabs & BMWs.
