If you need Volvo parts, go Scan-Tech!!

I love buying a new Volvo (new to me that is, no Folvos) and fixing up all the little neglected areas to come up with a nice, friendly and reliable car.

I HATE then spending a few months finding all the ScanTech junk hidden within the car and replacing them with real parts. I've yet to have a good experience with ANY scantech part.

I've even had a man bring me his 240 to have is harmonic balancer replaced......... he had his own part and against my advice, it was from guess who. The thing had NO keyway!

Well, ScanTech better have friendly ppl on the phones, they certainly have nothing else to keep them in business much longer in my view.

I'm a little drastic to tell the truth. ScanTech has a VERY bad rep with true Volvo ppl, but I take it a little too far for most. I look for scantech parts on my cars and replace on sight. I don't wait for them to fail on the highway running 80 and changing lanes.
