I want to replace my A/C compressor with a rotary compressor from a 85-86 B23. I know that the bracket I have on my 83GL won't let me do the transplant. Does anyone out there have one or know where I can get the bracket I need?

hi there, i did this swap on my 240 turbo. the junkyard is full of the brackets. a nice upgrade with much less power loss, and better cooling at idle.
of course you need the newer power steering pump also, which has a remote resivoir or one from a 91-93 240 which has attached resivoir.
if you go with the 91-93 pump get the high pressure hose from same car.
you may need a new low side hose, although someone on the board has made the current one work. i had one fabbed up with a low side port in a easy to reach location. good luck
