Just had the front transmission seal replaced this past week after a leak developed. I had also had that seal replaced a couple years ago. Was this just bad luck or is there something else that could've caused the problem again? Thanks for any info.

Nothing should cause the trans seal to blow in 2 years, unless it wasn't installed well the first time. I can't imagine that there is enough play in the input shaft of the trans, to cause this problem.

Anyway, if there was, you'd have other problems, so I think that isn't the issue. I think the first time wasn't so good.
