broken oil drain hose.... need help 200 1982

I was under my '82 244 GLT trying to get the oil pump remounted after removing it to replace the oilpan (still fruitless after 30 minutes of trying to get it in right with the key lined up, blind because of the pan in the way) and I pulled the "oil drain hose" to the side to make more room, and it cracked in half. I'm talking about the oil drain hose (that's the term used by my Bentley manual) that runs inside the block and drains oil into the oil pan- it runs right beside the oil pump (there's actually a bracket on the oil pump bolt to hold the hose steady).
I've been told that the top end connects under the flame trap, although I haven't removed the intake manifold yet to check.

I can't seem to find the oil drain hose on the groton/IPD site.... I ordered what I thought was the right hose from the local dealer (their diagrams are really vague), but it ended up being a smaller hose with a much smaller (probably half the size of the original part) interior diameter. I haven't yet taken the manifold off to look at the the flame trap and where it connects, maybe it will work, but I don't want to restrict the oil flow- how much oil runs through this hose?

anyone know a part number for this, or have any other info that would help me track down a new one? is it some sort of tubing I might be able to buy a length of around town? (I'm expecting its something special to be able to handle the heat.) thanks
