My 960 transmission seems to upshift too soon after I've driven it uphill for a while.
After it's shifted too soon, it also won't downshift when it normally would, letting the engine rpm drop well below 1000rpm and clearly struggling, and I have to floor the accel pedal to force a downshift.
When it's misbehaving, it will also occasionally hesitate between two states rapidly before it settle on the lower gear (engine rpm goes down-up-down by 1000rpm).
This also happens after a long freeway drive with AC on during a hot day. It will happen at ~25mph and ~45mph.
Trans and Engine codes are clear. PNP was replaced and trans flushed this year.
Could it be a converter lockup issue, or sensor issue? Any suggestions much appreciated!
(PS: I had a previous post on this but lost the tread, sorry, Newbie! Thx for all the help so far, this forum is great!)
