1990 740 battery drain 700 1990

My son's wagon's electric radiator fan seized up and semi-fried the wires and connector for about one foot from it's motor. I stripped away the plastic harness cover until everything looked good. I taped off the wires but he has developed a pretty heftey battery drain and after a week of no use has killed the one year old battery that now won't take a charge. I was looking for a fuse or relay for the fan in hopes I might eliminate the circut but I cant figure it out from the manual or relay map in the hints section. Any ideas? thanks, Butchie
