More info on my 1994 940 stalling problem, todays results.

OK, I soldered the connectors of the 3 small wires on the + battery terminal. Removed and reseated the fan relay connectors since it was right there anyway, cleaned and reseated the small grounding block on the inner fender behind the ABS, resoldered all connections on the radio suppression relay board.

Called a dealer svc tech and he said that the relay assembly by the fuse block under the radio has no solderable connections. Yet FAQ's and suggestions say there is!! Who is correct?? I havent pulled the radio out yet to get at that assembly.

Todays test ride: Ran fine for about 7 miles then stalled. Problem getting much worse, only ran about another mile and stalled 5 more times. Only way I got home was to keep revs up around 4500 in mid gear. Even then it died twice but caught again in a second. Any time it dies the rpm go instantly to zero. Pulled in the driveway and the fan came on, stalled and fan quit also. First time Ive seen that sequence.

Next place to look???? Im getting a headache trying to navigate the FAQ's!
