warm start flooding 700 1987

I have an 87 760 turbo. It starts fine when it's cold, but when it's warm it floods and starting is iffy. It may start if I run the starter for an age with the pedal on the floor or it may not. Usually I must wait an hour to start it if it's warm. I'm quite sure the vac hoses are where they are supposed to be and I had the injectors tested and cleaned; I'm pretty sure they aren't leaking. Could the problem be in the pressure regulator? Could it be that there is an obstruction in the fuel return hose? Any ideas would be welcome; this problem is driving me crazier than I already am.

Thanks
