B234 balance shaft belt... 900

I'm about to do a timing belt change on my new-to-me 945 GLE, and I'm wondering if there is any reason to not just remove the balance shaft belt all together. On most N/A four cylinders, pulling the balance shaft chain is worth 5+ whp with just a slight increase in vibration. Given the 3200lb. weight of my new wagon, I figure it needs all the help it can get.
