question about swapping engine/tranny/exhaust from '92 244 to a '90 245 200

Is this possible without any serious mods? I have found a wagon whose body is in excellent condition, yet I have a '92 244 that has had everything under the hood replaced absent the engine and tranny-though both are in extremely great shape. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)
