Theres a backlight on my clock? 200

Hey I installed the tach/clock upgrade and I have heard that theres a backlight for the clock (the one next to the center vents). I have always wondered why there isnt a light to see the clock at night. How do I get it to light up? Did I install it wrong? Is there a switch for the light? Thanks.
