Went out for a spin today. On right hand turns with my foot off the gas, the engine stalls. Could it be related to the throttle linkage?
The end that connects to the cable is mounted on the firewall, so that when the engine leans toward the driver's side, that portion does not move. What probably moves is at the throttle position switch (I assume this car has one). Guess I could take off the air cleaner and move the linkage by hand - it would be nice to have two people working on this, one to watch and the other to shift to reverse.
Perhaps I should invest in some engine mount bushings... mine are 30 years old.
