I just acquired a Turbo sedan that is locked and doesn't have a key. I took the VIN to my local dealer (Southern Oregon Volvo--great folks) and they got a key cut (twice) but it didn't work. So, I have to assume that the PO got the locks changed at some point. I'm hoping (irrationally?) that the new key will work in the ignition, but first I have to get into the car.
So, to my question: Any tips on breaking in? What is the process for using a flat blade to trigger the catch? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
