Hi, I have a project on the go that is not a Volvo but uses the front suspension from a 144. My question is, has anyone achieved a Rack and Pinion conversion to replace the steering box and drag link arrangement! To register my project for road use (im in Australia by the way) my consulting engineer requires that I employ a rack and pinion conversion and obviously I would prefer to follow someone elses success instead of having to muck about and experiment with possible solutions!
