I am trying to figure out what year my car is. I was told it was a 1965 when I bought it, but I checked the badge and its a type 11244 D which is from 1963. I don't want to just assume that the engine is from the same year. I got the engine number, #496802, but I can't find any website that tells me what year that is. Anyone know how to decode this?
