Recently, after a day trip my 245 started to loose power, the radio went, and the dash lights started flickering, inc. the hazard lights. The car soon stopped running. I was later able to start it on a jump start but it stopped when i removed the cables. When I got it started and kept it running I found that the indicator lights would again start to come on when ideling, and I would have to continually rev the engine. Today I replaced the battery, and it started beautifully, after driving ~1/2mile again, the lights came on and the car quit, on half a tank of gas. after half an hour I was able to restart. I did notice that the primary fuel pump is making noise, characteristic of it wearing out, could this cause that problem? I am trying to fix it asap to sell.
