740 + K&N = better mileage?

Ye ole brick is pulling in about 19-21 MPG in mixed city/fwy driving. You think dropping a K&N(or equiv) will give me just a few more MPG? Well, I KNOW theoretically it will, I guess I'm just looking for testimonies.

And yes, it's had a tune up and the tires are properly inflated. And I'm not too concerned about long term reliability, considering I only want her to last maybe another 2 years.
