Hi, The car wouldn't start - no spark. Test light showed no power to coil #15 so I ran a wire from the battery directly to the coil. As long as I have this wire in place, it runs just fine. After reading multiple posts about the connector (which I've cleaned) and the fuel system relay or the ignition control unit, I'm confused if my problem is really like any of these or not. For now, I just ran the wires through the firewall with a toggle switch (so I can kill it since the key won't), but am wondering if it is ok to keep running this way until I figure out what the problem is.
The only other thing that seems odd is that the battery warning light is dimly lit and pulses more brightly with the turn signals when they are on.
Am I looking for a short, a broken connection, a bad relay, and where should I look first? thanks, Karin
