What does the brickboard population know about interchangeability of control units between late model 200 and 700 models? Specifically, are the 397-05 unit from the 90-93 240 and the 872-00 from similar year 700's interchangeable?
Numbering for the plug is reversed on the front of the units, but only because the plug is also reversed when installed.

If not, does anyone know what the difference is? Is it the on-board diagnostic in some 7's?
