Hello,

I have two Bosch 70 amp alternators that I am looking at to replace the 55amp model in my 82. I was inspecting the brushes on both, and found something odd. Both had the brushes wearing in an uneven manner. Either the front or rear brush was down to the bottom and the other almost new. I have some ideas about the issue but would like some input from others on what could cause the problem. Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving.
