Cooper vs. Michellin 900 1995

My mechanic wants to know if I want Michellin tires or Cooper tires on my 940 Turbo Wagon. She said the Michellins will be $600 vs. $450 for Cooper. (Merry Christmas, kids, we got tires for the car, so that's why there aren't any presents!) Any opinions on the Michellins being worth the extra money? Not sure of the exact model. As always, you guys have good ideas. Thank you!
