My last post tonight. My AMM is freakin out.
I had an error for a long time, finally cleared it after I replaced my O2 sensor. It came back instantly.
Now, the weather has turned cold and humid and my AMM error DISAPPEARS at night.
My situation is this, I live in CA in the part that goes from 30 in the winter to 114 in the summer. I'm going to heat my garage to 70 degrees and see if I have an error when I drive my to-temp car into the garage. Humidity is about 45% I think.
I SHOULD. At about 45F I have read 4.5 volts off my AMM's point #3 as per the swedishbricks instructions. This is read at an idle of 1K.
My thinking is this. The air has gotten so cold that teh AMM's screwed up readings are almost accurate. My mechanic thinks I'm not totally nuts for thinking this, so I want to know if anyone else has had this problem.
I expect very little feedback, but any would be cool.
