Trying to see if I have any vacuum leaks, I tried a method I read here (I think, posted by Lucid). I hooked up a propane torch to a rubber tube and directred the flow of gas at various suspectable places under the hood to see if having the propane sucked in would make the engine race. Sounds reasonable, right? Well, as a control factor, I plugged the propane tube itself into a vacuum fitting on the manifold, but it didn't change the way the engine ran. What do I try now?
BTW: everything looks sound, and I don't get any OBD codes, but as you could read in my last thread posted, I failed emissions inspection due to a high NOx level.
