One of the best Used Volvos? 700

Hey,

This is my first time posting, so I will introduce myself. I am 32, and need a car that will be driven every once and a while to work. I really like the old volvo steel frames and engineering. I am located in Canada, Ontario in the city of Toronto. Looking to buy a used Volvo, but dont know which one has turned out and aged the best. Looking for something very durable, fairly reliable and of good qaulity. There is a used Volvo 760 GLE 1988 in my area for sale, around $400 dollars. It has 180k miles on it, passed the emmissions test. There is a palm sized dent in the front drivers door that doesnt affect it. Its a V6 and I dont think its turbo. There are two problems with it,
1)Heating system is on manually by putting fuse . Put fuse-heat works, Take out fuse - Heat stops.
2) One door needs little repair. (the dent)

Here are some pictures of the car for sale...

I have done a little bit of research, and understand the pre-1988 760 GLE engines were garbage, and the latter ones have been alot better.

This will be my first volvo, is this a good one to get into? I dont have a garage, but am very handy and I don't mind spending a weekend fixing something. My only concern is I hear parts cost alot, and used parts are a good alternative.
