Neutral saftey switch caught fire. Looked like a bic lighter when I pulled the shifter cover off. Only seemed to light in park.

I guess a short somewhere, the harness looked good, don't want to light another one.

I did replace it with a spare that I had, so far so good.

I'd appreciate any ideas on why the thing fried.
