I have a 1987 740 GLE with a B230F that keeps stalling. I think this is from the engine flooding, If I disconnect the fuel injectors start the engine and burn the fuel and reconnect them the car will start and run fine for a little while and then stalls again. The tachometer will wind down with the engine instead of just dropping to 0 when it does this, and all of the idiot lights come one when it stops. It will do this at lower speeds and highway speeds and seems to occur more often when letting off the gas and the engine is winding down or when braking. I've changed out the radio suppression relay and the fuel pump regulator. I've also had it to a mechanic who says he cannot find anything wrong with it; he had recently worked with the timing on the car. This is getting worse and the car will only run for approximately 1/2 mile before it happens. When idling there are no problems. If anybody has a suggestion I would appreciate it. Thanks
