Not your ordinary windshield wiper problem 200 1989

OK, so after a good ice storm recently, my wipers wound up being misaligned. That is, when the wiper finishes each cycle -- either in the intermittent or steady modes -- the wiper ends up not stopping at the base of the windshield, but with the wipers being vertical, almost all the way up. Is there something I can do to realign them?
