'K' camshaft on a carbureted B23 engine

Hello all,

could a single-SU carbureted B23 engine, with a 9.6:1 CR, be happy with a 'K' camshaft?

That engine usually runs an 'A' camshaft, with 10.5mm lift, compared to the 11.95mm lift and bigger overlap of the 'K' camshaft.
