Intermittent turn signal 200 1985

Hi,
Been having a problem w/my turn signal working intermittenly on my '85/240DL sedan no cruise contol. Changed the switch but sometimes it just doesn't go on. Is there a relay somewhere or do you thing it's shorting on something? Thanks all for your input.
