My new manual came in yesterday - I am very impressed with how much information is in the manual. All you veterans, thanks for strongly suggesting the investment. I will definitely jump on that bandwagon, with both feet.
My questions about how the various control systems function are addressed, and expected values for testing individual components and the systems as a whole are given. That should make troubleshooting much easier.
I understand that since my car is a little older (the manual only goes back to the 1983 model year), there will be some differences between what is in the manual and what is actually installed in my car. My first question regards the fuse block; what are the differences between the chart in the manual and my circuits?
Thanks!
