Still trying to resolve this problem...
"My son's '93 240 idles violently when cold. After about 15 minutes, when warm, it quiets down. Other than the rough idle, it seems to accelarate smoothly and has enough power. Any ideas would be appreciated."

My son brought the car to a Volvo Shop who suggested that there's
a leak in the Brake Vacuum Booster.

First, is it a likely cause of the idle problem.
Second, with a very low mileage of 78K, is it likely to be a damaged Booster.
The Shop is quoting over $900 to replace it.
