I need to replace the odometer in my 86 240 wagon. I'm planning on trying to find one at a junkyard and am wondering if there is anyway to tell if the one that I am pulling is any good or if it is broken? Also, is there a way to advance the mileage on an odometer so it can set it to the correct mileage for my car? My speedometer still works so I'm pretty sure my odometer just died.
