210 clutch diagnosis 444-544

So with little clutch experience of my own I am wondering what you all have to say about the most likely culprit (other than myself) in this situation.

We are talking 1965 210, b18 m40 4 speed. No hydraulics in this clutch. It was last driven 6 months ago and when I tried to take it for a spin last month the clutch would not engage. That is to say, with engine running, gear selector in neutral, clutch pedal fully depressed, one cannot get the vehicle into gear.

I've watched the linkage, while someone else depressed the clutch and the arm entering the transmission moves when the clutch is depressed.

The question is what am I looking at here? Release bearing? Something seems to have become stuck during the vehicles dormancy but I am unable to diagnose this myself. Ahy help is appreciated.
