73-74' clutch/brake pedals 140-160

on my 73' 142 the previous owner converted the car to a manual from auto. instead of ussing the pedal asembly out of a manual car he made one. the pedal ratio is off and it travels too far. i need the pedal assembly froma 73-74'. i've tried to see if the ones from a -72" and from a 240 would work but they won't. does anyone have one? i really don't want to have to make one.
