Hi all,
This is my first post... I had a 1984 240 wagon (got wrecked), then a 1994 940 wagon (also got wrecked), bought a "good" new car - Mazda6 wagon - HATED it and sold it within 3 months!
Now am waiting on a restoration/refurbishment of a 1990 240 wagon, being done by Brickboard's own David Samuels, so I'm getting into finding cool things for it. I have always liked the white gauges they have in new cars (test drove several before buying the Mazda) - I have found one place that sells overlays that are made of photopaper and UV protected - but it says you just rubber cement them on! This seems cheesy to me, but if it's the norm, I'd like to know. They look really good, but are only $25, so it makes me wonder. Does anyone sell actual gauges or something more substantial than a computer-generated piece of paper? Are there better white face kits that I'm just not finding? I really like the idea of having them white...
I'm looking forward to learning more on this board! Dave (I call him my Volvo guy) always talks about this site being great...
Thanks for any ideas,
- Sara
