All power but no start 200 1989

Good afternoon all

2 days ago my wife complained that she was getting smoke in the cabin. after that, the brick wont start. there is power to all ACC's and lights. I hear the ckick from the fuel pump relay but no spark or turn. I am going to take the starter sol to Autozone to test Tomorrow.l is there anything else that I can look for to solve the prob. Thanks all.
