Jacking Points and Jack Stands 200

I have tried to figure this out from other post but have no definitve answer. If as indicated, the safest point to put jack stands is the jacking points, where do I put the jack, especially up front so that I raise the car without doing any damage and am out of the way of the jack stands. The differential seems to work for the rear.
