I try to be pretty environmentally conscious. I recycle, buy wind-powered electricity, conserve water, ride my bike or the bus sometimes ... and then I drive a smog-spewing old Volvo.
Will the 122 run on the new 85% ethanol fuel? What changes would have to be made to the engine?
How about a propane conversion? I read on the Net about a guy who converted his old Rambler to propane in 1989 and it still goes as a daily driver.
Are there other options to making our old cars better for the environment? I guess if they were diesels, we could convert to bio-diesel like my friend did with his 60s Mercedes. He fuels up at fast-food restaurants oil barrels for free!
