Recently I purchased some Town Car rims, which measure 15 inches by 6 1/2 inches with a 5 lug, 4-1/2 lug pattern and a 35mm offset.
Wanted to get 195-75X15, but they’re only available by one brand and there was a score of terrible reviews associated with them. Normally I get tires through Sears.
I’d like a smooth ride and have the car handle well (duh). I have some 1" and 1/4" spacers, although I’m not sure I should use them.
Also now, with stock rims, my speedometer is reading about 20mph high! Wouldn’t mind that being a little closer to accurate.
There’s an M41 in there with a working J type OD. It’s from a ’69 140, if that makes any difference.
Finally I’d like the tires to look kinda tall on the car. I don’t think clearance will be a problem. But I’m not absolute about that.
