Hey board,
My engine will start and idle just fine.
when the throttle is open it starts to run real rich.
It will run rich even after returning to idle.
However, if I turn the engine off and restart, it will idle good until the throttle is opened.

Spark plugs are black.

The distributor was toast and the coil wire was bare and directly against the a/c accumulator. I fixed the wire and rebuilt the distributor, but still I have the above problem.

Plugs are good. Recently installed bosch platinums.

When I disconnect the amm the problem seems to go away.

I measured the ohm level at the idle side of the tps and got 18 ohms with throttle closed. The wot measures as a open circuit. may, or may not have anything to do with it. temp sensor seems ok.
