ac switch wiring 87 240 200

My rotary a/c switch has died on me and only engages the compressor at the very lowest setting. I have been thinking about replacing it with a simple on/off switch. However, the wiring has me a little confused. Going into the current switch are a yellow wire, a red wire, and two green wires. Does anyone know where these wires go? I would sure appreciate some help.
